Jupiter Power built a portfolio of grid-connected energy storage systems in North America with a focus on merchant revenues and siting of systems in grid locations that offer significant value to grid operators. These utility-scale battery projects profit from charging during periods of excess supply and discharging as demand peaks. The management team successfully operated and opportunistically marketed power in various regions with favorable power market conditions.

Jupiter Power LLC was sold to Blackrock in 2023.
